Unhappy Nightmare on the greens

My number one operator mowed four greens with a hydraulic leak this morning before noticing it. Anybody have a magic bullet?

We had a leak on a green the night before our biggest tournament of the season. We immediately had guys with hoses and Simple Green on the green trying to wash it out. There is not much you can do once it has happened unfortunately.

That happened to us last month, but it was only a strip on one green. We're just letting it grow out of it. I've tried a lot of different things over the years but have come to the conclusion about the only thing you can do is either let it grow out of it or sod it.

learn from it and put in biodegradable hydrallic fluid. It is pretty cheap, but if you have a leak you will still see some burning with the biodegradable hydrallic fluid.
