Question Salary

I know this is a personal subject and not one that a lot of people will openly talk about. But sense this website is somewhat anonymous I figured it would be alright to ask. Now I am a college student in the turf and landscape program and I would not want to do anything else. I have been on a course for the last two years and I hope to one day be a superintendent myself. Anyways I was wondering what kind of income I can expect (above average 18 hole course)... I know different regions have different averages. But I just kind of wanted to get an idea. Most places I have checked say the national average is around 60-70 thousand on and 18 hole course. I know the size of your budget is also a big factor as well. Anyways if anyone wants to give me a little insight it would be great. Im not asking you to post your salary by the way. I just want a ballbark estimate of what you think the average in your region is based on budget.

Ps. you can tell me I am going to make little to nothing all my life and I will still stay in this line of work haha

If you in this job to make a million, then yes, you are in the wrong industry. If you are outgoing and have a positive attitude about work everyday, then you will go far. Money is what you make of it, there is always a better job, no matter how much money you make. Stick with it any enjoy the opportunity you have to be in college and starting your career. This is the first step, not the last.

And btw, we would not all be in an industry that you do not make a decent living at. So dont ask a question about money to your peers.
